Team Sweden defeated Team Finland 2-0 in their preliminary-round game at the World Cup of Hockey 2016 on Tuesday. Team Sweden is 2-0-0 in Group B play, and Team Finland is 0-2-0.

Here are the three stars of the game as selected by members of the World Cup of Hockey 2016 Organizing Committee:

3rd star - Mikael Granlund, F, Team Finland

3 SHOTS, 2 BLOCKS, 17:47 TOI

Granlund was a presence almost every time he was on the ice and was second among Team Finland forwards in shots and time on ice. Like his teammates, he couldn't solve Team Sweden goalie Henrik Lundqvist.

2nd star - Anton Stralman, D, Team Sweden

GOAL, 2 SHOTS, 17:24 TOI

Stralman's goal at 9:57 of the second period was all Team Sweden needed to defeat Team Finland. Henrik Sedin came from behind the net and slid a pass in front to Stralman, who beat goalie Tuukka Rask. Of Team Sweden's three non-empty-net goals in two games, defensemen have scored two of them (Victor Hedman in 2-1 win against Team Russia on Sunday).

1st star - Henrik Lundqvist, G, Team Sweden

Lundqvist showed no effects of the illness that kept him out of Team Sweden's 2-1 win against Team Russia on Sunday. It was a stark contrast to his performance in Team Sweden's pretournament finale against Team Europe, when he allowed four goals on 17 shots. "I felt rusty in the first period, I was not where I wanted to be," Lundqvist said. "But in the second and third, I felt more and more comfortable. I really enjoyed being out there playing."
