Alcohol Management -- Our goal is to promote responsible alcohol service and enhance Fan safety and enjoyment. Our staff are trained in responsible alcohol management. Rules and Regulations Governing Alcohol Management:
• Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into nor taken out of Fan Village
• Any person found inside Scotiabank Fan Village with alcohol not purchased in Scotiabank Fan Village is subject to immediate ejection
• A person may not enter Scotiabank Fan Village in an intoxicated state
• Intoxication in a public place is a criminal offence. Any person found in Scotiabank Fan Village in an intoxicated state will be removed from the premises
• Any person purchasing, possessing, or consuming alcohol must be 19 years of age or older and must be able to produce acceptable photo I.D. proving their age
• Acceptable forms of photo I.D. are: valid driver's license; Age of Majority Card; Armed Forces Card; Passport; Canadian Citizenship Card; MTO Issued Photo ID; Canadian Permanent Resident Card; Native Status card
• Alcohol service will be cut-off at 10:15pm each day of Scotiabank Fan Village operation
Animals -- Pets are permitted in the outdoor areas of the Distillery Fan Village only. Service animals may accompany the Fan in any areas open to the general public.
Attire -- Shirts and shoes must be worn in Scotiabank Fan Village at all times, including entering or exiting. Clothing with profanity, obscene gestures or statements, pictures of illegal substances, costumes or disguises that conceal identity is prohibited.
Backpacks/Bags/Purses -- If you are carrying a handbag, luggage, or carry-all please be advised that for the safety and security of our Fans we only allows small personal handbags, backpacks or baby bags into Scotiabank Fan Village. You should also be aware that all bags are subject to search before being allowed into Scotiabank Fan Village. Qualified designated security personnel are required to perform wand searches of all patrons entering the East Fan Village. Fans that refuse to submit to either a wand, visual or pat-down search shall be refused entry.
Bank Machines (ATM) -- ScotiaBank ATMs are located in the East Fan Village at the Scotiabank Pavilion.
Bottles, Containers & Coolers- Fans are permitted to bring in their plastic bottles, cans and containers into the East Fan Village but coolers are subject to search. No alcoholic beverages may be brought inside Scotiabank Fan Village.
Cameras and Recording -- Guests are permitted to bring cameras and video equipment into East Fan Village, provided that they are intended for personal use only. Cameras with a lens longer than six (6) inches and wearable action cameras may not be brought into Fan Village, except by credentialed media. Filming of any game footage is strictly prohibited.
Concerts -- Each person attending a concert at Scotiabank Fan Village (September 16th and 23rd) must produce a valid concert ticket, pass or authorized credential. Once a Fan has exited the venue they are not allowed re-entry.
Drones -- All drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems) are prohibited at (in) Scotiabank Fan Village, and any unauthorized drone(s) observed over Scotiabank Fan Village will be reported to Transportation Canada and local law enforcement, regardless of its point of origin or operation. Drones may pose a potential safety risk and may violate Transportation Canada Guidelines.
Emergency Evacuation -- In the event of an emergency, Fan Village personnel have been trained and instructed to assist Fans in evacuating. Fans are asked to remain calm and follow the instructions of personnel and the public address announcer.
Esso Price Privilege Cards -- Esso brand representatives will be distributing Price Privilege cards at eight Fan Village events. The price privileges card is a 5¢/L fuel savings card on 80 litres that instantly saves you 5¢/L upon use at Esso stations across Canada.
Fan Services -- Should you have a question or concern, or require assistance we encourage Fans to speak to one of our Fanbassadors located throughout both Fan Village locations.
First Aid & Medical Services -- The First Aid station is located adjacent to the International Café in the East Fan Village.
Food and Beverage Service -- The Fan Village is proud to offer a wide assortment of Internationally-inspired food and beverage choices for Fans of all ages. Be sure to check out the International Café in the East Fan Village and the Food Huts in the Distillery Fan Village.
Food Allergies -- Fans with food allergies or medical conditions who require specific types of food and beverage will be permitted to bring their own food and beverage into Scotiabank Fan Village. Note: The Fan Village does not have areas free from nut products and as a result, we recommend that those with nut allergies exercise extreme caution if attending Scotiabank Fan Village.

Laser Pointers -- There is zero tolerance for laser pointers at Scotiabank Fan Village. If a Fan is caught using a laser pointer they will be subject to ejection from the venue.
Lockers -- There are no lockers available at Scotiabank Fan Village.
Lost parent/child -- All parents/children determined to be lost will be taken to the Info Services Tent near the main entrance in the East Village or the Security Hut in the Distillery Village.
Lost and Found -- If you have lost an item please visit the Info Services Tent near the main entrance in the East Village or the Security Hut in the Distillery Village.
Merchandise -- Officially licensed merchandise is available at the Official Merchandise shop located in the East Fan Village. Visit the shop for the widest selection of World Cup of Hockey jerseys, hats and souvenirs available.
Molson Canadian Human Bubble Hockey -- Official beer sponsor Molson Canadian is taking bubble hockey to life-sized proportions, building a first-of-its-kind, four-on-four bubble hockey arena in Fan Village, for anyone of legal drinking age to experience. Nearby, the Molson Canadian Hockey House will also be up and running, where for $10 entry, fans can participate in a number of activities including trophy viewings and alumni meet-and-greets, alongside premium food and, of course, ice cold beer.

Parking & Directions -- The Fan Village is located in the Historic Distillery District in the West Donlands of Toronto. The closest major intersection is Front Street East and Parliament Street. Fan Village is best accessed via public transportation (TTC). Parking is extremely limited so we recommend media Fans utilize buses and street cars that currently operate in the area. In addition to the TTC, the World Cup of Hockey will operate a daily shuttle service between the Scotiabank World Cup of Hockey Fan Village and the Air Canada Centre.
By Transit: From King Subway Station, take the eastbound 504 King streetcar to Parliament Street and walk two blocks south to the Parliament entrance into the Distillery District. There is also a new 514 Cherry streetcar service that drops passengers off at the Distillery Loop at Cherry Street and Mill Street.
Pepsi Live Main Stage -- The Pepsi Live Main Stage, located in the East Fan Village, will feature live musical entertainment each day in addition to showcasing the World Cup of Hockey games on the giant screen.
Pepsi Photo Experience -- Visit the Pepsi World Cup of Hockey photo experience to capture the passion you have for your favourite team in a 360 degree photo that you could share with friends and family.
Personal Transportation -- Bicycles, Scooters, Hoverboards, Segways, Skateboards, Inline Skates & Roller Skates are not allowed inside the East Fan Village. Strollers, Wheelchairs and Motorized Scooters used by those with disabilities are permitted.
Pizza Pizza -- Pizza Pizza is proud to be a partner of the World Cup of Hockey 2016 and is excited to be offering our delicious pizzas for sale to visitors of the Scotiabank Fan Village.
Prohibited Items -- For safety reasons, Fans are refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. Illegal items will be turned over to Toronto Police. If a Fan is found in Scotiabank Fan Village with prohibited items, the items will be confiscated and in some cases, the Fan may be ejected.
East Fan Village Prohibited Items include (but are not limited to):
- Aerosol-based Noise Makers or Airhorns
- Musical instruments
- Spray paint, markers or pens
- Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives)
- Fireworks or flammable items including liquid aerosols
- Glow sticks
- Outside Alcohol
- Illegal or illicit substances, drugs, or drug paraphernalia
- Bags larger than a backpack
- Chairs, blankets, sleeping bags or tents
- Laser pointers
- Drones or Drone Cameras
- Professional Cameras or Audio/Video recording equipment
- Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, roller skates, segways, hoverboards,
- Animals unless they are service animals
- Flag Poles, sticks or totems
- E-cigarettes or vaporizers that contain refillable liquid chambers
- Full-size umbrellas, small collapsible umbrellas are accepted
Re-Entering -- The Fan Village is a free-to-attend event. Re-entry is possible provided the venues have not reached capacity. In the event of reaching capacity, Fans will be required to line up and be allowed to enter/re-enter as Fans depart the venues. There is no re-entering Fan Village on Concert Events.
Rogers Fan Hub -- The Rogers Fan Hub connects all hockey fans to the game through celebrating the unique global and cultural backgrounds which come together during World Cup of Hockey. Filled with innovative and technology-driven interactive experiences, The Rogers Fan Hub showcases virtual and augmented reality to unite fans and players from all over the globe.
Samsung #GALAXYLIFE -- Samsung #GALAXYLIFE has landed at the World Cup of Hockey Fan Village to showcase the latest technology, like the Gear VR. Come by the Samsung tent to enter daily Air Hockey Challenges, for your chance to win tickets to the World Cup of Hockey and Samsung product!
SAP Skills Challenge -- Throughout the ten days Scotiabank Fan Village is open, SAP will be engaging with fans through a number of events, player appearances and the Skills Challenge Zone. The Skills Challenge Zone includes four hockey skill games as well as leaderboards displaying fan player stats and player and puck tracking videos.
Scotiabank Cardholder VIP Access -- Customers of Scotiabank who have a credit card or debit card on their person are permitted to enter the East Fan Village through a dedicated VIP line. The Scotiabank Cardholder VIP Access line will allow cardholders to enter into Fan Village before regular Fans, in the event the venue reaches capacity.
Scotiabank Fan Passport -- Visitors to Scotiabank Fan Village can sign up for the Scotiabank Fan Passport to get information about onsite activities, collect and share moments, and have the chance to win prizes including the Grand Prize -- two tickets to a luxury suite for Game 2 of the WCH Final with NHL Alumni. Fans can sign up for the Scotiabank Fan Passport beginning September 16th by texting 'HOCKEY' to '85853' using their smartphone and registering onsite.
Scotiabank Sports Pad -- The Scotiabank Sports Pad, located in the East Fan Village, will feature local youth hockey games in addition to various entertainment programming.
Scotiabank 360° Arena -- Fans will virtually hit centre ice and have the Scotiabank Skater experience for their favourite World Cup of Hockey team.
Shuttle Service -- A dedicated, free-to-ride Shuttle Service between Scotiabank Fan Village and the Air Canada Centre will mirror the operating hours of Fan Village. Shuttles will depart from each location every 10-15 minutes approximately. Air Canada Centre pick-up location is on Bay Street (east-side) just north of Queens Quay Blvd. The Scotiabank Fan Village pick-up location is on Tannery Road, just north of Mill Street. Fans will only be able to enter and exit the shuttles at the designated pick-up and drop-off locations.
Signs/Banners/Big Heads -- Signs, Banners and Big Head cutouts are permitted inside Scotiabank Fan Village provided they do not hinder, distract, or interfere with the view of other Fans and must not be obscene or in poor taste. They must not cover or distract from permanent signage. Commercial messages are not permitted.
Smoking/Vaping Policy -- Smoking is allowed in the outdoor areas of Distillery Fan Village. Please be considerate of other guests when smoking in designated areas. Smoking is not permitted in the East Fan Village.
Sonnet Cheer Station -- Canada's smart new insurance, done completely online -- is celebrating the power of Canadian Hockey fans at this year's World Cup of Hockey. Recognizing that our outlook can change everything, including the game, the Sonnet Cheer Station is giving fans a unique opportunity to share their optimism as they cheer for their team, while rewarding them for focusing on the best that can happen.
Tim Hortons -- Fans can stop by the Tim Hortons Coffee Truck to receive a free cup of Canada's Favourite Coffee.

Washrooms -- Washroom facilities are located in both the Distillery Fan Village and East Fan Village.
Security -- East Fan Village. All Fans, including children, must consent to a search of their person and anything they are carrying. Failure to consent to such search will result in denial of entry into Scotiabank Fan Village. Metal detectors will be located at all gates.
Weather -- The Scotiabank Fan Village will operate daily as per the operating schedule. Some attractions or performances may be postponed or canceled in the event of inclement weather.
World Cup Today -- This large-scale, immersive experience informs hockey fans about the World Cup of Hockey history as well as highlight the many spectacular moments accomplished during The Canada Cup and the first two World Cup tournaments. On display for photo opportunities will be the 2016 World Cup of Hockey trophy designed by Frank Gehry. World Cup Today is a must see anchor of Scotiabank Fan Village with daily changing game artifacts on display. Player of the game jerseys, game winning pucks and action-weathered player sticks are all within reach for an up to the moment, curated sport-culture experience. Hockey fans will want to visit every day to see the latest and greatest on display!
World Cup Tower -- The 10 metre tall World Cup Tower is located in the Distillery Fan Village and will feature exciting World Cup of Hockey video content in a unique and inspiring manner.
